In the years we've been making Bump Stopper we received many questions from people looking for advice. Most of the times the questions revolved around the topic of the regimen: How often to apply the product, how to clean the skin before applying, etc.
A few times, though, we were contacted by people asking very specific questions, questions that could not be answered with generic answers.
We have compiled a list of these requests with their answers in the hope that they could be of help to you.
Q - Can Bump Stopper be used in the genital area?A - Bump Stopper products can be applied to the genital area but NOT on the genitals. They should not be used if your skin has a cut or an open wound.
Q - Bump Stopper-2 is great but it is too strong for my skin.
A - We have developed Bump Stopper Sensitive Skin for people with sensitivity concerns. We have also Lady Bump Stopper for women, a sensible option for the intimate needs of women that doubles up as a hair regrowth retardant, thanks to its special formulation.
Q - I am trans going through HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy). Is it safe for me to use it?
A - Yes, it is safe to use while going through HRT. Many MtF use to keep their face and chest clean and smooth, as well as their legs and bikini area. The ingredients used in Bump Stopper products will not interfere with the hormone treatment.
Q - I am going through menopause and I am using HRT to relieve the symptoms. Can I use Bump Stopper?
A - Yes, yes you can! As mentioned above, the ingredients on Bump Stopper products will not interfere with hormonal treatments.
Q - I am a bodybuilder and need to have my whole body shaved. Is it safe for me to use Bump Stopper? Is there any part of my body I shouldn't use it on?
A - Our products can be used in any part of your body, as long as the skin is intact. You should not apply Bump Stopper over skin with abrasions, lacerations, cuts, an open wound or there is bleeding. It should not get in contact with your eyes and, of course, you should not ingest it! We have Bump Stopper Sensitive Skin for the more sensitive areas and Lady Bump Stopper for women.
Q - I am a young adult who just started to shave and I get bumps after every shave. Can I start using Bump Stopper now or should I wait until I'm older?
A - We don't recommend our products for people under 13 years old to use Bump Stopper, or any other treatment for that matter, even if they are shaving already, as their bodies are still going through many changes. If you are under 13 years old and suffer from shaving bumps, consult with your dermatologist and ask about using Bump Stopper.
We hope you found the answer to your problem on this list. If you have a question that is not in it, please contact us and we'll have an answer for you right away!

Can women use Bump Stopper-2
Bump Stopper
Edward, the short answer to your question is: Definitely no.
Bump Stopper would in no way alter or hasten color changes in either the follicles or the hair shafts.
We certainly appreciate your business after all these years.
Thank you,
The Bump Stopper Team.

I have been using Bump Stopper off and on since it was recommended to me by the USAF clinic in 1990, and it works beautifully. My question is by the ingredients ‘softening’ the hair at the follicle, can it bring on premature ‘greying’ of the hair? I’ve always kept some semblance of a moustache after basic training and never needed to use the product directly around the lip area. I have ‘greyed’ in the surrounding areas much faster, specifically the cheek area and the ‘goatee’ area other than my lower lip. If you can respond to this, I would greatly appreciate it.
